As of the 2014-2015 School Year, the Bates Middle School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) has moved their communications from this blog to a new framework called My PTA, which will allow the leadership to consolidate the communications to the parents into a single platform that supports web, email and calendaring functions. However, the Facebook Page and Twitter feed will still be active.

Because this blog might contain information that is of historical significance, it will be left in its current form, but will no longer be updated.

Reminder - Uniform Shirt Exchange THIS WEEK!

BATES UNIFORM SHIRT RETURN/EXCHANGE - Next Week! Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

Monday, June 16^th through Wednesday, June 18^th

Help the Cougars be green by recycling your black, royal and purple. uniform shirts.

We will be collecting clean, wearable Bates uniform shirts from all grades. If you choose to exchange your shirts, every effort will be made to accommodate an even exchange of shirts for the next school year, though we can make no guarantees. These recycled shirts will be available for pick up on the uniform sale days in August. If you choose to purchase new shirts for next year, you can still bring in your old ones for others to use.

Students who turn in shirts will be permitted to wear appropriate non-uniform shirts on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, but MUST wear the rest of their uniform (bottoms, belt, shoes, & socks) on the last three days of school.

We will also accept any unneeded belts, bottoms and sweatshirts which will be donated to the Uniform Closet.

Free Sports Physicals offered for incoming AHS 9th graders

• FREE Sports Physicals for Fall Offered!  ATI Physical Therapy is holding FREE Pre-Season Sports Physicals Screens this SATURDAY JUNE 7th at the Orthopedic Sports Medicine Center at Anne Arundel Medical Center. These physicals are for students playing sports next year at Annapolis High School. 
• Annapolis High Schools’ time slot is from 8:00 am-9:20 am.  Please call Julie Tucker @ 301-928-4694 to reserve a spot. 
• We also have a one time only tentative date set for physicals here at the school which is August 8 for $10 no time has been set as of yet. Check the website for specific times - www.annapolishighschool.org.

Wed - Restaurant Night!! Potbelly's and Noodles on the SAME NIGHT

Take a night off from cooking!!

Choose to eat at Potbelly's" AND/OR "Noodles & Co." at The Annapolis Mall.  They are right next door to each other.

Eat at either establishment from 5-9 pm and 25% of your bill total will be donated to Bates PTA

PVA dancers will be performing on the Noodles & Co. patio!
