At home volunteer need this week...

Hello Volunteers,

The PBIS committee needs a parent volunteer this week to cut a thousand 6 by 6 inch squares for a whole-school Advisory project that the kids will do next week. The paper will be in the UPSTAIRS teacher's workroom, at the library and the paper cutter is there as well. It could also be picked up and done at home - and shared between several parents. All paper will be there today.

Please reply to lbrino@aacps.org and let Laura Brino know that you can help!

Thank you so much for your continued support of our Cougars!

Volunteer Appreciation Week!

From the Counselors:   We are in need of a parent early next week to help in the counseling office with some clerical work….filing, alphabetizing, etc. Thank you so much!!
Please reply to khepting@aacps.org if you can help!

Also, this is Volunteer Appreciation Week! Thank you, thank you for all that you do for our students! I have several passes to the Volunteer Recognition Tea on Thursday, May 23rd from 8:30am-10:30am at Michael's Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie. Please reply if you'd like to attend.

Finally, it's time to collect Volunteer Hours! If you have volunteered at home, please send me your hours (just your name and total number of hours is fine.) Thanks to those who have been sending them from time to time!

You are all appreciated more than you know!
Thanks again,

Bates MS Volunteer Needs

Hi Bates MS Community,

I am happy to forward a volunteer request from Becki Hutchison, the Bates MS Parent Volunteer Coordinator. Becki and I work together to get volunteers for both Bates MS program volunteer needs as well as PTA events volunteer needs

Thanks, Deirdre

Bates call for volunteers to sort and distribute!

1a. 3-4 parents needed to provide food packets to Bates families in need. Parents will sort food packets for each 6th period class next Friday, October 26th. Likely 2 hours to count and distribute. Food packets provided by Revolution Annapolis. Contact Maurena Darling at mdarling@aacps.org to help!

1b. The second part of this project is to have a regular packing team every Friday for the student’s families that request food.  This would start on the 9th of November. Contact Maurena Darling at mdarling@aacps.org to commit (even if you can only do one Friday per month!)

Thanks as always!
