I've had some questions, so I just wanted to clarify some of the communication flow. We are trying a new idea this year of having Grade/PVA Coordinators. Their job is to liaison with the grade/PVA staff to facilitate communication and resources for the specific subgroups. The folks who have stepped up to the task this year are:
6th Grade: Jenn Macris (jmacris@hotmail.com)
7th Grade: Kristin Brandenburg (jkbrandenburg@msn.com)
8th Grade: Stacey Hooper (snjhoops@msn.com)
PVA: Heidi Petras (hipetras@gmail.com)
We have no way of separating our email list by these subgroups, so I have asked each of them when they send out a post to put the subgroup (6th, 7th, 8th, or PVA) in the subject line so that if it doesn't apply to you, you can just delete it without reading.
If you are concerned that the PTA emails are cluttering your inbox, you can change the way you receive them to be a "Daily Digest", so that you would receive no more than one email per day with all the messages sent that day. You should see that option in tiny print at the very bottom right hand corner of all Yahoogroup emails.
