Science Fair Evening Celebration Cancelled / Changed to In-school Ceremony

Parents & Guardians of Bates Learning Community,

                Thank you for your support with our science fair this year. Unfortunately, due to contract negotiations and restrictions resulting from Work to Rule the evening Science Fair Celebration at the Boys and Girls Club will not occur. The science fair judging will take place during normal school hours this week Wednesday December 8^th and Thursday December 9^th. We are honored to have 100 community judges and several hundred quality projects to display. Winners will be determined and invited to attend a morning ceremony Wednesday December 15^th at 8:15am. There will be 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd places in each of the 17 categories. In addition, the top ten overall will continue to the represent Bates Middle School in the county science fair. All winners will be notified early next week via phone and/or email. Please contact Ms. Thorson with any questions, cthorson@aacps.org .
