Chess club will start Wednesday, September 21, 2011 during 6th and 7th Grade lunch. Any student who is interested in the Chess club will need to sign up this week in the cafeteria on the Club Sign Up sheets which will be posted around the cafeteria.
7th Grade will meet in Room 113 from 11:23am-11:48am
6th Grade will meet in Room 114 from 12:25pm-12:50pmALSO - we are looking for 2-3 parents who could volunteer to assist the Chess Master, Mr. Greg Acholonu, during the lunchtime Chess Club on Wednesdays.
Please email me if you can help. This club started last year and was a great success. This is an example of a parent-led initiative and is made possible by a $2,500 grant from St. Margaret's Church.
