What IS happening at Bates this week:
* Tues, 7pm: Liberal Arts Band, Strings, and Chorus plus Jazz Band Winter Concert @ Bates
* Wed, 5:30pm: 8th Grade PVA Capstone Performance @ Bates (Description below)
* Thurs, 6:45 & 7:30pm: PVA Chorus performing for Midnight Madness @ State House Inn
* Fri: Interims come home
Capstone Performance: This is a brand new collaborative project that a select 20 students (8th grade PVA) put together over the past short 12 weeks. The performance combines music, art and dance into a unique performance telling the story of how the arts bring creativity back into a persons life. I'm very excited (and nervous!) for their performance and their hard work. The performance is early (5:30pm) so feel free to go grab dinner somewhere and then come join us for this exciting event. Please spread the word. These kids have worked very hard in writing, directing, and producing this performance. (it's free!).
