I hope you all will try to attend the PTA meeting this Monday night at 6:40. We have lots of projects to kick off for the second half including the Spaghetti Dinner, The 3rd Annual Bates 5K, and a few new projects.
Also, at 6:00, AHS Principal Don Lilley will speak to us about all the good things going on at AHS, including all the various programs and pathways - AP, IB, IB Certificates, PVA, Signatures, Music Programs, etc. We know that for many 8th grade parents, they will need to make decisions relatively quickly regarding magnets, so we thought it would be good to know some of the options that AHS has to offer.
NOTE: This presentation is NOT to be a forum re: the Honors For All program underway for 9th grade Science and Social Studies - that forum will be next Wednesday, Jan 11th from 6:30-8pm at AHS. I do encourage parents who want to know more about Honor For All to attend that meeting.
