Congratulations to Bates 6th graders Caterina Grandi and Megan Jackson for 1st place awards the county-wide Young Authors Contest! Caterina's award was in the Poetry category and Megan's was in Short Story. As first place finishers in their category, they will be submitted to the statewide Young Authors Contest.
