Sadly, the end of summer is coming!  The school year and Fall season ahead always becomes a welcome change once we get into our new routine.  The PTA Board is busy planning the upcoming year.  Please contact us with your questions and come to our meetings and events.

Mr Dunn has asked me to forward the following:
Mr. Griffiths and Mr. Lambert will be at Bates from 9:00am until 4:00pm on Wednesday, August 15th, tomorrow, to sell uniform items.  Please come to buy your uniforms.

Also, Target is giving away gift cards totaling $2.5 million to schools.  It's a super fast and easy way for Bates families to raise a little money for our school.  Below is a link to their web page and also their Facebook page.   Folks can use either to vote!!  We need to act fast...the program ends 9/8/12 or whenever they reach $2.5 million whichever happens first.

Simply choose a K-12 school in our list of eligible schools and vote for it weekly through September 8 or when $2.5 million in Target GiftCards® have been awarded, whichever occurs first. A school will receive a $25 Target GiftCard for every 25 votes received during the Promotion Period; up to a maximum of $10,000 in gift cards. For example, schools that receive less than 25 votes will not receive any gift cards, while schools that receive 25-49 votes receive a $25 Target GiftCard and schools that receive 50-74 votes receive $50 in gift cards. If the school you chose is not on our list, please choose another school.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Voting ends on 9/8/12 at 11:59:59 p.m. CT or when $2.5 million in Target GiftCards have been awarded, whichever occurs first. Maximum of $10,000 in gift cards will be awarded per school. Voting is limited to legal residents of the 50 US/DC, 13 years of age and older. Limit one vote per person per week.
