Hello Bates Families,
Last Wednesday was the start of our annual, school wide Bates PTA
fundraiser, the Otis Spunkmeyer cookie sale! The profit from the cookie sales
fund our PTA general budget. Each student should have received a sales packet. This packet contains all the materials that are needed to
get started. Extra Otis sales forms are available in the Bates office on the secretary, Mrs. Tongue's, desk.
Bates has always had a high percentage of student involvement
in this fundraiser and this year we are striving for 100% participation. There
are two great reasons that we encourage all students to participate. The most
important reason is so they can attend the culminating event...a party during
school. The party is a big bash with music, games, food and cash prizes for our
top sellers. The second reason is to support the students, teachers and staff,
all of whom benefit from the great programs that our PTA sponsors. If you have
questions or you would like to volunteer for the fundraiser, please contact

Cookie orders are due to homeroom teachers on September 24th. Please be sure
your student completes the information (name, address, phone numbers,
grade, email, etc.) on the order form and includes the checks for the orders. If we have questions about an
order, this information allows us to contact you. Thank you for supporting our
