Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to the Bates Middle School community!
The Nutcracker performance was a top-rate production and a joy to watch last night with my children. Great job to the parents who volunteered, the teachers who helped and especially Ms. Shea and Ms Genovese. The costumes and dancing are spectacular.
Enjoy the holiday break and don't forget to read "Wonder" by RJ Palacio. Our family will return our copy to the Annapolis Public Library tomorrow so reserve your copy now! It is a wonderful story.
Andrea Sporre, the Bates Librarian will discuss "Wonder" at the Family Book Club evening on January 14th, following a shortened PTA meeting. The students will also discuss the book in small groups during the school day. Please consider attending our first Family Book Club.
