Budget.
Liz del Castillo, PTA Treasurer, presented the
budget. If we do not make money from 5 k we may need to make
more cuts in the future. There is currently $17, 353 on balance in
our checking account. Liz proposed an amendment to budget to account for
donations from parents for the Chess Club. Amendment voted on and
approved. Liz proposed that we move $189 from the Italian Dinner fund
into the AVID fund to cover an AVID filed trip. Ammendment voted upon and
approved.
Principals Report
Mr. DeRoo presented some dress code reminders.
Our polo colors are white, blue, light blue, black, and purple. Please
remind your students to wear their Belts. Tights need to be solid
color. Mr. DeRoo remarked that overall we have pretty good
compliance. Mr. Dunn is leading an internal sub-committee for
considering making changes to the dress code for next school year.
Mr. DeRoo reminded us that Cell phones need to be off and
put away during school day. If cell phones are out they can be tagged and
bagged. Parent needs to come to school to pick up cell phones that are taken
from students.
