Both the PVA and Liberal Arts Strings performed wonderfully at this year's AACPS Middle School Band and Orchestra Festival on Thursday, April 4. The Liberal Arts Strings earned straight 2's in stage performance and sight reading, giving them a score of "Excellent." The PVA Strings earned straight 1's in stage performance and sight reading, giving them a score of "Superior" and qualifying them for the State Festival in May. Both groups performed to the best of their ability and represented Bates Middle School well. Congratulations to all students!
