24 Club begins this week!
Remember
the 24 Math Game from elementary school? You had 4 numbers that you could +, -,
x, / to make 24.
Well, now
middle schoolers have an opportunity to play another version of that game
using double digits, variables, decimals and fractions. We’ll get
together for a few months to have fun playing the game together, and discuss
and practice strategies. While the emphasis will not be on the final
competition in May, those who are interested will need to practice in between
sessions if they want to excel at the tournament.
We
will meet every Thursday for March and April leading up to the May 1st
county-wide tournament.
If
interested, stop by Mrs. LeBlanc’s room 214 THIS TUESDAY AFTER SCHOOL March 4th
for an informational meeting , just 3-3:30 so that we can also
participate in Help day ! You can take the activity bus home.
