ALSO TONIGHT: Tonight is the Anne Arundel County Council Public Budget Hearings starting at 7 pm in the Arundel Center, 44 Calvert St., Annapolis, 21401. Issues of interest to the Annapolis Cluster are support of full funding of the Capital Budget and Operating Budgets including Special Program continued funding for Programs of Choice (IB, PVA, Stem), Bilingual Facilitators, Later Start Times, and Teacher Salaries. While the number of children in our county schools continues to grow, the traditionally tight school budgets are not rising sufficiently to keep pace.
