We are organizing the Harvest for the Hungry campaign at Bates from Oct 11 thru Oct 31. We will be asking for food goods and conduct a Penny drive. The Penny drive will run the second week of the food drive. There will be a contest with prizes (for example, recess time) among the grades to incentivize the students.
In order to collect the change in the classroom, we will need 29 milk cartons (cardboard) and 3 large clear containers (like the containers that hold the pretzels or animal crackers).
Could you place this request online asking parents to provide? We would like to have the containers by our next mtg which is next Thursday (Oct 7th). These items should be forwarded to the guidance Dept.
