Hello,
At this time I do not have a flyer to go home, I was assuming the students would relay the information to the parents (I should know better by now). If the students purchase a ticket, the time and date are on the ticket itself. However, the dance will be from 5-7 p.m. on Friday March 4th. The cost is four dollars for students who purchase a ticket prior to Friday (3 dollars if they contribute a canned good) and 5 dollars if they wait till Friday to purchase the ticket. I believe I have enough chaperones, however, the list of parents and their emails I created somehow got deleted from my flash drive. If you could send out an email asking the parents who volunteered to resend me an email, I will be able to let them know what I need them to do. For your information, If parents would like to help set up I would need them to report to the cafeteria at 4 o'clock on Friday. Otherwise, they need to be present by 4:45 to be ready for the dance. I will need parents to help with food and drink sales as well. Last I would need a couple of parents to stay and help clean up afterwards. As far as dress goes, students do not, repeat do not, have to wear their uniforms, but must "use their heads" when deciding what to wear i.e. appropriate clothing for children of this age.
If anything else comes up in the next few days I will be in touch, but I think that covers everything.
Thanks to you all for you constant support of the staff here at Bates,
