My sincerest apologies ... the Cafeteria Manager has informed me that the Food & Nutrition office will be providing a fruit and a cheese stick for all four days of testing! This is great news. She would like to ask for a volunteer or two each morning early to help bag up the snacks for the classrooms. If you are willing to help, please contact Ms. Gill at dgill1@aacps.org. She has been working from home since a knee injury, so they are short handed in the cafeteria!
Stay tuned - I think this means no fruit or cheese stick is needed - we will let you know soon if any additional items are desired.
Hi, Bates Community -
MSA's begin next week! March 8-9 for Reading, March 15-16 for Math. Put the date on your calendar to make sure your child comes to school well rested and on time!
To make sure all our students are at the top of their game, we'd like to ask your help in providing healthy snacks. The PE Department will be administering the snacks, and the Food & Nutrition Office will be providing snacks for one of the testing days. With over 600 students and 4 total days of testing, that leaves a bit of a gap to fill!
We'd like to ask parents to please contribute one or some of the following:
* bags of small apples
* granola bars
* cheese sticks
* sleeves of 6-8 oz water cups (jugs will be in classroom)
Please try to bring them in this Thurs / Friday so that we can take a count to see what additional might need to be purchased out of the PTA budget. They can be taken in or sent in with your child to be dropped at the front office.
