Thanks to parent Peri Lane and Tara Boyle from Fresh Farm Markets (the Sunday market downtown) for setting up a wonderful "Tasting of the Local Greens" last Friday. The cafeteria looked awesome, and kids enjoyed tasting local kale, tomatoes, and strawberries. Yes, I said "kale"! Peri and her volunteers cooked up Kale Chips (roasted in olive oil and seasoned).
