The Annapolis High School Art Department is trying to accelerate the talented visual art student's progress through their high school art classes. If students submit the required portfolio and they are deemed capable of doing the work in the accelerated program, they will not be required to take the foundations class, but rather can advance into the appropriate level acertained by the portfolio review team.
Required Portfolio:
1. Two drawings from observation.
2. An imaginative composition that demonstrates an understanding of space.
3. An Abstract drawing or design that demonstrates an understanding of color, unity and balance.
The portfolio is due at the Annapolis High School Art Office by Thursday, June 9, 2011 by 3:00 pm and can be picked up the following week.
