Teacher & Staff Italian Feast
November 19, 11-1 pm
Hello Bates Parents & Friends! Every year on
the Monday of conference/Thanksgiving week, Bates parents show appreciation for
our teachers and staff by serving a wonderful lunch. This year it
will be an Italian Feast!
We need helpers
& food contributions.
Some parents have already signed up to bring food. If you did, please
scroll down & double check the list at the end. If not, please read
on!
I have one very special request. I volunteered to chair this
event even though I will be out of town. Becki Hutchison, Teacher
Extraordinaire, agreed to help organize in-house. However, I need a lieutenant
to purchase & set up the main dish items at 10 am Monday morning. Please
call me if you can do that!
Overall,
we need the following food items, keeping with our Italian theme if at all
possible! We are feeding over 100 people.

VOLUNTEER HELPERS--We need at least 2 parents for
each of three shifts: 10-11:15, 11:15-12:30, 12:30-1:15

1. SALADS--NEED 3-4

*Green, pasta, potato, slaw, fruit,
etc. should serve 10 to 15
2. SIDES--NEED 3-4

*Beans, appetizers, cut up veggies,
etc.
3. DRINKS--NEED 7-8
MORE
*Canned sodas, juices,
sparkling waters, etc. work best.
4. ICE--NEED 1-2 LARGE
COOLERS W/ICE T0 KEEP DRINKS COLD
5. DESSERTS--NEED 5-6

*Brownies, cookies, pies,
cakes, etc.
