Our next PTA meeting is on Monday, Feb 11, at 6:30 in the Bates Media Center. The agenda items include a vote on budget cuts needed as a result of the cancellation of the May art auction event, a report from Principal DeRoo, an update from Heather Macintosh on the Wellness Committee and Start School Later initiative progress, an overview of the PTA-assisted 8th grade Gettysburg trip by Mr. Hartman, Social Studies Dept Faculty and an update on the Feb 22, 5:30 - 9 pm Italian Dinner and Silent Auction for the Arts.
Starting at 6 pm, before the PTA meeting begins, Officer Joe Hudson, Hispanic Liaison, City of Annapolis Police Department, will speak about "Social Media and Your Teen". Please join us for this great talk.
Before the March 11 PTA Meeting, our 6 pm speaker will be Courtney Hoffberger, Assistant Principal, Bates Middle School, with the topic "Grading Policy: What can I Redo?".
